Recent Work

Our group focus on wide bandgap semiconductors and oxide ceramic materials for power & optoelectronics. We process thin film and nanostructures, and use advanced characterization techniques to understand the ensuing properties for different functionalities, such as piezoelectricity, ferroelectricity, optoelectronics, and photoelectrochemistry. We dedicated our work to achieve Energy Efficiency

We use scanning probe microscopy to understand the surface behavior of thin film and nanostructures, including Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy (KPFM), Electric Force Microscopy (EFM), Piezoresponse Force Microscopy (PFM), Conductive- Atomic Force Microscopy (C-AFM), Peak Force Quantitative Nanomechanics (PFQNM), and etc.
